Lecturer at the University of Malta since 2011, she has conducted research in Malta on urban public spaces, culinary heritage and national identity. After several artistic and anthropological projects ("Transit", "Night and day", "Tecknir" and "Rima"), she became the artistic director of a programme of cultural events around the theme of Exile, for the European Capital of Culture, Valletta 2018. For three years she coordinated projects such as the "Utopian Nights" festival, expression workshops for immigrants and a film festival on exile, as well as the collective making of subjective maps and multiple exhibitions ("To Be defined" 2018, "Exiled Homes", 2017). She also edits and writes texts between anthropology and artistic criticism ("Poetics of Displacement", "Transit", "Three Nights in Utopia"). Back in France, in 2019, she founded the BRAŻŻA Art Residency in which she hosts artists, authors, performers and photographers. Together with Margerita Pulè she recently set up the group exhibition "The Ordinary Lives of Women" (Spazju Kreattiv, Malta) with ten artists engaged in feminist struggles. She is currently working on a project to collect archives in Congo-Brazzaville.
