Engaged in dance-based research and practice, he questions the choreographic exhibition. Tormented by the work of Loïe Fuller, he is currently working on the reactivation of the "DANSE SERPENTINE" process through images; a documentary and performative publishing project on Loïe Fuller and the becoming image of dance at the end of the 19th century.
Based in Paris and Brittany, he leads creation and research projects within the company A posteriori. He produces plays, but also filmed essays or conferences.
He collaborates with the following companies: Disorienta, Étant donné, Pièces détachées, Still/motion... and many other artists.
As an artist and dance researcher, his work has been co-produced by the Centre Chorégraphique de Montpellier, and supported by a research grant from the Centre National de la Danse in Paris. In his creative process, he is particularly interested in the work of attention that sets all matter in motion. His intention is to privilege the dimension of passage, the zones of transition, exploring immobility and flow, awakening and dreaming in the same profile. He appreciates perceptual mirages and the logic of ricochet.
He was interested in the question of the artistic act in dance, the subject of his Master 2 research at the University of Paris 8, Dance Department. In the context of a doctorate, he questioned the notion of choreographic exhibition.
Tormented by the work of Loïe FULLER, he is currently working on the reactivation of the "DANSE SERPENTINE" process through images; a research project of a documentary and performative nature on Loïe Fuller and the becoming of the image of dance at the end of the 19th century. He was invited to the Rodin Museum, to the Sundance event Les Moulins de Paillard-Centre d'art, to the Toulouse-Lautrec Museum in Albi to present this research.
He has taught dance and improvisation in art schools for 12 years and continues to do so in various institutions (Conservatories, Universities...).
